Name: "Luna Aeterna ~ Nemuri Wo Samasu Mono"
Artist: N/A
Type: BGM
The music played in the opening bit where the fairy princess Morgan releases our villain Celestin from his lunar prison. Uh-oh! Has a mystical and foreboding beginning, with the music quickening for the bit where she struggles to unlock his cell. Kind of an interesting opening track with a beautiful, sad second half.

Belldandy sings to a tree. It's just a bunch of "lalala"s, but it's gorgeous. This is set to the tune of the big goddess number later on, so it's rather pretty.

Some really happy springtime music. It's "a day in the life" sort of music that fits the Morisato household nicely.

Seems like Belldandy is reminescing about her teacher Celestin, but I can't really remember. It's happy-peaceful music that gets a bit more intense as the tune continues. Maybe this is when Celestin shows up? Oh well. I like the shift near the end with the Danny Elfman-esque choir.

Cute little Sora gets a song. This is actually the song she sings karaoke to in the movie, only now she's not drunk, heh. It's an okay song, nothing special, but I'm glad they included a full CD-quality version of this on here.

This is pretty cool. Maybe THIS is where Celestin comes in and Urd tries to save Belldandy before he can take her brains. Fairly short, unfortunately.

This is the song Belldandy sang at karaoke, I believe. It's not a great song, but it was cool in the movie because some girls were fooling around Keiichi and Belldandy got so jealous she accidentally made all the glasses in the room explode. She was so embarrassed she ran out in the middle of her song. I liked Belldandy a lot more after the movie. I used to hate her because I thought she was really boring. She still is, but the movie brought some more insight to her character. I have to say, though, I don't normally like Kikuko Inoue's vocals unless she's doing something for Sakura Wars, heh heh.

Sad, near panicky music. This might be from the part of the movie about Belldandy's memories of Celestin. I like. Sounds like lovers are being torn apart, or one's been told they have cancer. Yeah, cancer.

Some more of Celestin's background music. He was kind of an interesting character, but I'm afraid his motives weren't fully explained in the movie. Or maybe I was just sleepy watching it. This is sad yet powerful, leader-type music, and I'd say that explains this guy pretty well.

A nice little song with few instruments that give it that silent longing feel. Belldandy amnesia time, I think.

Hell hath no fury like a goddess pissed. I think this is when Urd challenges Celestin, with the others soon to follow. That was a really cool part of the movie. I liked this movie. Exciting orchestral battle music woo!

Morgan angst music. It's either when she has Keiichi cornered and kisses him. Poor Belldandy. This is some of my favorite BGM from the movie, for some reason. It's sad but kind of hopeful, then it changes a bit in the middle. I like.

More goddess scat fun! It's Belldandy and... Belldandy? Six-year old Belldandy sings (so cute!) followed by pre-teen Belldandy. It's a nice little song.

I like this, see, because it's the intense orchestral music and then it switches to this cool BEEDEEBEEDEEDEEBEEDEEDEE... uh... I don't know, synthesized stuff. I think it sounds neat and I remember really liking it in the movie. I think it works with the whole "heaven is a super computer" thing.

I remember when I first heard this I nearly shat myself. This was the prettiest I'd ever heard Belldandy, Urd, and Skuld's seiyuus sing. This is GORGEOUS. I get stupid little goosebumps every time I hear it, and it's my favorite part of the movie. My friends thought it was gay. They're gay! I love it when people use the power of music to fight evil. I can't help it... too bad this is so short. Thank goodness the bonus track is on this CD ^_^

The "Everythings all good!" music. Here is where Belldandy and Keiichi walk through the gate and discover their love is truly eternal. I think it would be sweet, but both characters are so boring I could hardly care. At least Skuld and Urd were amusing at the end.

Name: "Try To Wish ~Kimi Ni Hitsuyou Na Mono~"
Artist: Saori Nishihata
Type: ending
I could care less about the ending theme, really. It does nothing for me and it's my least favorite song. Well, no... Belldandy's karaoke track is. I like some of the music in this, but I don't really care for the singer and stuff. I'm sure plenty of people will like it, though. This is just falls flat compared to all the gorgeous music on this soundtrack.

If you're like me and wondered what the goddess song would sound like sung by a bunch of Polish people in Latin, wonder no more. I'm very pleased they put this on here, and I'm just taking a guess at it being in Latin really. I can't understand a thing they're singing, but it sounds lovely. Somehow, I like the goddess version more. It just had more impact on me I guess because I could picture the scene when Belldandy, Urd, and Skuld sing it, plus this version doesn't have the climactic ending. But this is still very beautiful and a wonderful end to the CD.
